Responsible persons

The people organizing the THINK Conference are responsible for processing the personal data gathered to run the conference, i.e. the THINK team of Kulturverein Krawall, as indicated on https://thinkconference.net/about/.

Data gathering

The THINK team collects the following data of participants and further interested persons:

  • Name
  • Telephone number
  • Email address
  • Food preferences (allergies, vegan, vegetarian, etc.)

Data processing

The gathered data are stored on an internally-used Google Account and the THINK Conference’s website server hosted by all-inkl.com, which are only accessible to the members of the THINK team and the Vorstand of Kulturverein Krawall. They will not be shared with any other third party. The data will be used for the following aims:

  • Sending invitations for the THINK Conference and subsequent information.
  • Sending information about events and organizations of interests similar to the THINK conference.
  • Selecting the provided food at the THINK Conference.

Data deletion

To be able to advertise future THINK Conferences, the consensually provided data noted above will be stored until the consent is revoked. The deletion or information about one‘s own gathered
personal data can be requested at any time via an email to organizer@thinkcommunity.network

Media

Krawall – Verein zur aktiven und nachhaltigen Gestaltung von Lebensräumen documents the THINK Conference – Interdisciplinary Exchange through photo, video, and audio recordings. All attendees of the THINK Conference grant Krawall the non-exclusive, royalty-free right to use any images and recordings made by members of Krawall or the THINK organizing team for purposes including but not limited to reporting on and promoting the conference and the association’s activities. This right is granted without time limit and extends to all communication channels of Krawall and the THINK Conference, including but not limited to its website, social media, newsletters, print, and other media. All media and other recordings can be used without additional permission or notification of the attendees.

Submitted Materials

Conference applicants and attendees who submit materials including but not limited to conference activity abstracts, talk descriptions, presentation materials to Krawall and the THINK Conference grant Krawall the non-exclusive, royalty-free right to publish and reproduce these submitted materials in parts or edited form for purposes including but not limited to reporting on and promoting the conference and the association’s activities. This right is granted without time limit and extends to all communication channels of Krawall and the THINK Conference, including but not limited to its website, social media, newsletters, print, and other media. All submitted materials can be used without additional permission or notification of the submitters. Authors retain copyright of their submitted materials and will be cited accordingly if and when they are used.

How Consent is Given

By applying to or attending the conference, applicants and attendees acknowledge and accept the conditions set forth in this policy.
